International Women's Day
Saturday 8th March 2014
For more than 100 years, International Women’s Day has celebrated the social, political, and economic achievements of women while focusing world attention on areas requiring further action. This year, the theme of International Women’s Day is Inspiring Change.
There will be a free event in Harlow to celebrate the day.
Fiona Mactaggart, the Labour MP for Slough, and women's right activist will be joining the event along with Suzy Stride, Labour's Parliamentary Candidate for Harlow.
Join us for tea, coffee and cakes to celebrate the achievement of women's rights and to hear from some inspiring females.
Entertainment will also be provided
Venue: Ground Floor, Wych Elm House, Hamstel Road, Harlow CM20 1QR (opposite Addison’s GP Surgery)
Date: Saturday 8th March
Time: 5-7pm
